On The Farm
We are tucked in towards the back of the Crowmarsh Battle Barns site, nearest the river. Please follow the yellow Cartshed signs from the main road to find us.
Built in 1824, The Cartshed Cafe is housed in a listed barn, situated on a working arable farm. Crowmarsh Battle Farm is an enterprise run by the Chamberlain family for four generations. They manage over 3500 acres of land in South Oxfordshire with sound crop rotations and habitat generation at the heart of their farming ethos.
Our food is simple, fresh, local and is led by the seasons. We are passionate about supporting local suppliers and producers including freshly baked bread and cakes using flour made from the farmer’s wheat in Preston Crowmarsh.

Once you know the secret, you'll always be able to find us! The postcode gets you very near to us, otherwise put Preston Crowmarsh into your sat nav and look out for the white road sign saying Battle Barns directing you off the A4074. Once you have navigated your way off the A4074, follow the yellow Cart Shed cafe marker signs into the Battle Barns site and make you way all around the rear car park. Please park in our gravel car park and not on the tarmac area.
